2D Shape Posters

These 2D shape posters make a perfect rainbow shape display in your classroom. You could combine this with 3D shapes to show the difference or simply to show what each 2D shape looks like.

These shapes posters feature a series of images to illustrate your teaching as well as the name, number of edges and number of corners for each shape. These can help your students to memorise key information, recognise shapes and expand their mathematical vocabulary. 

You can print these smaller and use them as flashcards. These can be printed double and used for Snap or Memory games. When using these cards, you could also get students to point out or collect objects with each shape from around your physical environment; just like a shape treasure hunt!
