We need to be setting things in place and actively avoiding burnout before it is too late and we have to strive to get over being burnt out! 

Set Boundaries:

Establish clear boundaries between work and your personal life. Dedicate specific times for marking, lesson planning, responding to emails etc. and stick to your timeframes to ensure you have ample time to rest and recharge.

Practice Self-care:

Prioritise self-care by engaging in activities that relax and rejuvenate you, such as exercise, hobbies, or spending time with loved ones. Regularly taking time for yourself helps maintain your physical and mental well-being.

Seek Support and Collaboration:

Connect with other teachers for support, sharing ideas, and collaborative planning. Being part of a supportive community can provide encouragement, reduce feelings of isolation, and ultimately lighten your workload (and theirs).
